Worleyparsons Limited
(ASX:WOR) has been awarded a $US90 million general design contract for Maersk Oil Qatar.
Under the four-year contract, WorleyParsons will conduct engineering design modifications and works associated with the Al Shaheen field located offshore Qatar.
WorleyParsons will provide brownfield design engineering services ranging from front-end engineering to detailed design as well as safety and efficiency improvements for the existing facilities.
The contract also provides a framework for the development of a mutually agreed set of key performance indicators and an incentive scheme.
Worley Parsons generated a net profit of $165.9 million in the 2012 financial year.
