Qantas Airways
(ASX:QAN) is awaiting a final decision from the ACCC on its proposed tie-up with Emirates.
The competition watchdog is reportedly due to deliver its decision on Wednesday.
It is likely to give the deal the thumbs up on the condition their combined trans-Tasman capacity is not diminished.
Both airlines have reportedly promised to increase capacity on the coveted route.
Qantas last reported a $111 million net profit in the period to December 31
st 2012.
