ANZ
(ASX:ANZ) is making a play for the corporate bond market in the re-emerging investment market of Vietnam.
Bank executives based in the South East Asian country spoke of ANZ’s strategy, after a board meeting in Hanoi.
With annual growth of 5.5 per cent forecast, ANZ says capital need discussions have been held with fund managers and insurance companies across Asia, Europe and North America.
ANZ last reported a $5.66 billion net profit for the 12 months to September 30.
