Boart Longyear posts 32% H1 increase

Company News

Boart Longyear Limited (ASX:BLY) has reported a 32 per cent increase on its half year net profit of $US98 million.

CEO Craig Kipp says the record result was driven by an organic growth strategy centred on emerging market growth as well as multiple new product launches.

Despite these positive factors the mining services company has revised down its full year revenue guidance because of an unpredictable macro-economic environment.

Boart Longyear has declared an interim dividend of 6.4 US cents per share, 15 per cent franked.
