WorleyParsons awarded new subsea contracts

WorleyParsons (ASX:WOR) has been awarded a frame agreement for engineering and construction (E&C) services and a new contract in the UK with ConocoPhillips U.K., Ltd.

Under the first contract, WorleyParsons will provide E&C services to assets in the central and southern North Sea.

Under the second contract, they will provide EPC services, including precommissioning and commissioning, for a subsea tieback project to an existing platform.

Meanwhile, Rosenberg WorleyParsons has also been awarded contract by Lundin Norway ASO in the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The objective is to prepare Lundin’s Edvard Grieg platform to receive and process oil and gas from nearby offshore fields. The project starts immediately and has a duration of two and a half years. The services will be executed from WorleyParsons Rosenberg in Stavanger.

Shares in WorleyParsons (ASX:WOR) is trading 0.57 per cent lower to $13.99.
