ANZ Banking Group (ASX:ANZ) looks set to double its China operations.
According to Dow Jones, the bank will increase its workforce by hundreds over the next ten years.
They say the move comes in a bid to take advantage of increasing banking opportunities in the world's second-largest economy.
ANZ posted an annual net profit of $5.4 billion in the 2011 financial year.
