WorleyParsons Limited (ASX:WOR) has won a contract from ExxonMobil worth about $112 million over five years.
The engineering company will provide project management, engineering, procurement and construction services for ExxonMobil’s Alaskan project.
The Point Thomson Initial Production System project is a remote field and includes gas processing facilities.
WorleyParsons has described the project as challenging and says it will be utalising its 40 years of experience in Arctic design and construction.
WorleyParsons reported a net profit of $382 million in the 2011 financial year.
