Suncorp Group Limited
(ASX:SUN) has announced it has appointed a former executive of Aviva and Norwich Union to its board.
Simon Machell has been appointed as a non-executive directive, with immediately effective from today.
Simon fills the vacancy created by Geoff Ricketts, who retired from the board in September last year.
The bank says Simon has extensive experience in general and life insurance. He also brings expertise in emerging technologies and new business models.
