Sigma Pharmaceuticals Ltd (ASX:SIP) has appointed Mark Hooper as its new managing director and CEO.

Mr Hooper joint Sigma from PaperlinX where he was chief financial officer since 2008, previous to this he was the chief financial officer of Sigma from 2001 through to 2006.

During 2006 to 2008 Mr Hooper was CFO at Symbion Health, and chief operating officer for the consumer and pharmacy divisions.
