Transfield Worley Services, a 50/50 joint venture between Transfield Services Ltd
(ASX:TSE) and WorleyParsons Ltd
(ASX:WOR) has signed two contracts to provide services to Woodside Energy’s Western Australian operations.
The contracts include a new four-year contract with a forecast turnover in the order of $600 million to deliver brownfield project services to Woodside’s offshore and onshore facilities, with a four-year extension option.
The company has also signed a two-year contract with a forecast turnover in the order of $100 million to provide maintenance and shutdown services to Woodside’s onshore Karratha gas plant and offshore facilities, with a two-year extension option.
Transfield Worley Services also provides services to a number of key global LNG producers including RasGas’ Qatar-based LNG facilities, Shell Philippines Exploration, Santos in the Cooper Basin and Origin Energy’s BassGas facility.
Transfield Services posted a $55 million loss for fiscal 2009, WorleyParsons however recorded a profit of $390.5 million for the 2009 financial year.
