RCR awarded $108M in new construction contracts

RCR Tomlinson Limited (ASX:RCR) has been awarded new construction contracts worth $108 million.

The first contract is with MMG Limited, for the construction of a processing plant at its Dugald River project in northwest Queensland.

The MMG contract is worth $73 million and the work (which involves project management and fabrication) is due to be completed by October 2017.

The second contract is with Rio Tinto, for the construction and commissioning of its Cape Lambert Power Station in Western Australia. This contract is valued at $35 million, and the work is also due for completion in October 2017.

RCR reported a net profit of $8.9 million at 31 December 2015.
