MZI Resources Limited (ASX:MZI) has announced that mineral production is ramping up at its Keybrook Mineral Sands Project in Western Australia.

The company says that the production of heavy mineral concentrate rose significantly in May – with total recovery increasing to around 90% of design.

MZI also says that its maiden shipment of L70 titanium dioxide was completed in March 2016, and that it will soon advance its first major shipment of L88.

The company’s Managing Director, Trevor Matthews says he is positive about the rate at which production continues to ramp up towards design, and looks forward to improved sales revenue as L88 sales about to commence.

MZI Resources reported a net loss of $2.97 million at 31 December 2015.
