Newcrest Mining Limited
(ASX:NCM) has reported a lift in gold production for the September quarter.
The gold producer announced production of 583,745 ounces of gold for the quarter, up from 561,731 a year earlier.
However, the figure was down on a quarterly basis from 673,542 in the June quarter.
Newcrest Mining has maintained its full-year gold production guidance of 2.4 to 2.6 million ounces.
Newcrest Mining reported a net profit of $560 million at 30 June.
