Trade Me Group Limited
(ASX:TME) has partnered with NZ insurance group Tower Limited
(ASX:TWR) to offer an online insurance product.
The online marketplace company says the offering aims to provide a streamlined all in one product that focuses on hassle-free sign-up.
CEO of Tower, David Hancock, says the company’s alliance with a trusted brand like Trade Me strengthened the insurer’s partner network across New Zealand.
Trade Me insurance will be led by Conor Sligo and Tim von Dadelszen, the general managers of the current insurance comparison website.
Trade Me reported a net profit $36.7 million in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
