Newcrest Mining executive shake-up

Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX:NCM) have made sweeping changes to their leadership team. 
 
A new role, Chief Development Officer will be filled by Michael Nossal. He will be tasked with business development as well as exploration and studies. 
 
Two Executive General Managers have been appointed. Craig Jones will now take care of the Cadia operation and Morobe Mining Joint Ventures while Phil Stephenson will supervise the Gosowong and Telfer operations. 
 
In an effort to maximise the Lihir gold mine, Craig Jetson will now report directly to Newcrest CEO Sandeep Biswas. 
 
Colin Moorhead and David Woodall will both be leaving the company. 
 
Newcrest reported a net profit of $207 million for the first half of the 2015 financial year.
