ANZ Banking Group
(ASX:ANZ) will partner with Australian Water Association to help the group with infrastructure and public private partnership financing advice.
The bank says AWA is focussed on knowledge sharing and business matching in water and waste water projects in Vietnam, India and Indonesia.
The bank already works with AWA in Australia and the extension of the partnership will further promote innovation and best practice.
Managing director of global loans and advisory Christina Tonkin says Australia’s water scarcity and experience with drought has given it world leading capabilities in water management.
ANZ Banking Group reported a net profit of $3.5 billion in the first half of the 2015 financial year.
