Good news for borrowers, the Reserve Bank has left rates on hold at 4.75 per cent. Building approvals have hit a two year low. The Australian Industry Group Australian Performance of Construction Index in conjunction with the Housing Industry Association has fallen again in June. And the Housing Industry Association has forecast a fall in housing starts but growth in house renovations.
