The Directors of Australian resources company Meridian Minerals Limited (“Meridian” or “Company”) (ASX: MII) are pleased to announce that the Company has received confirmation from Northwest Nonferrous Australia Mining Pty Ltd ("Northwest") that the Foreign Investment Review Board (‘FIRB’) has advised that there are no objections to the proposal for Northwest to acquire up to 100% of Meridian.
