The Directors of Australian resources company Meridian Minerals Limited (Meridian) (ASX: MII) are pleased to announce that Meridian has today received confirmation from Northwest Nonferrous Australia Mining Pty Ltd (Northwest) that all Chinese governmental and regulatory approvals that are necessary for Northwest to proceed with the scheme of arrangement between Meridian and each of its shareholders (Scheme) have been obtained.
