Independence Group
(ASX:IGO) together with Buxton Resources Limited
(ASX:BUX) has announced that major work programs are set to commence at several highly prospective Ni-Cu-Co sulphide exploration projects in Western Australia.
Buxton says, the strategic alliance between Independence Group and Buxton will allow for significant exploration to occur at all Projects, maximising the chance of exploration success.
A significant exploration program at the Merlin site this field season is being finalised to conduct a number of tests, including depth extensions to the intrusive complex and possible structurally hosted zones of mineralisation.
Meantime, the joint venture will allow for significantly increased Ni-Cu sulphide exploration in the underexplored King Leopold Orogen site. Buxton says a highly experienced team has been established and work has commenced.
