UCL Resources Limited (ASX:UCL) advises that Mawarid Mining LLC’s (Mawarid’s) market takeover offer closed on 22 June 2013.
As at the close of trading on Friday, 21 June 2013 Mawarid had received acceptances in respect of 74,567,044 ordinary shares in UCL, taking its voting power to 90.95% or 94,266,038 ordinary shares.
UCL is awaiting confirmation from Mawarid as to the timing of the compulsory acquisition process outlined in its Bidder’s Statement dated 23 April 2013, and its intentions in relation to UCL’s affairs generally.
