Panorama Synergy Appoints Chief Executive, Terry Walsh, to the Board
Australian technology company, Panorama Synergy Limited (ASX:PSY) is pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Walsh to its Board as Managing Director.
Mr Walsh has served as Panorama Synergy's Chief Executive Officer since November 2009 and now joins the Board as the Company embarks on its plan to augment the development of its revolutionary Magneto Photonic Crystal (MCP) technology with the sale of information and other products via the internet to generate early cashflow.
Panorama Synergy's Chairman, John Athans believes the appointment will allow the Company to more fully tap Mr Walsh's extensive experience and knowledge of the internet market place from his time working for Cisco.
A passionate believer in the benefits of the internet to business, society and education, Terry Walsh has led significant growth in each position he has held.
"Terry has been in the technology sector for 30 years or so and is an acknowledged expert in `Technology and Globalisation', particularly as it relates to the small to medium enterprise (SME) market. This background is invaluable for the rollout of our enhanced business plan" said Mr Athans.
Panorama Synergy intends to capitalise on the rapidly growing sales trend in the dynamic internet world, by offering a range of information and other products in parallel with the ongoing development of its MCP technology. The Company's solid state photonic switch controls are expected to significantly enhance switch performance in many and diverse applications.
Panorama Synergy is currently raising funds to roll out its enhanced business plan through a Share Purchase Plan which closes at 5pm (WST) on 27 January 2011.
