SRH-5H Well, our first horizontal well, is being prepared to commence drilling operations by mid-October. In preparation for the fracture stimulation of this well, a 100 x 100 metre frac pond has been constructed. This pond will be lined with plastic and filled with water from two already drilled water wells. It will take approximately 6 weeks to accumulate sufficient water for the well’s fracture stimulation program.
The SRH-5H well location is being constructed and permits have been issued for a horizontal well. The Western Drilling Company rig contracted to drill the SRH-5H. They are expected to spud this well in the first half of October. It will take approximately 3 weeks to drill and prepare for the Halliburton frac crew currently scheduled for early December.
