Mobilarm Limited
(ASX:MBO) (the "Company"), announces the appointment of Mr Richard Allen as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective 29 October 2010.
Richard has extensive experience in the international offshore marine oil and gas industries, having spent over twenty years working locally and internationally with Baroid Drilling Fluids Inc (acquired by Halliburton).
During this time Richard filled a variety of technical and management positions, culminating in Manager for the Asia/Pacific region with responsibility for operations in 16 countries, a turnover in excess of $80 million and employing more than 250 people.
He was previously Managing Director of Tox Free Solutions Limited (ASX: TOX) and Chairman of Plantation Energy Australia Pty Ltd. Richard remains on both boards as a Non-Executive Director.
Tox Free Solutions Limited (ASX: TOX) is now one of Australia’s largest integrated industrial service and waste management businesses with a market capitalisation of ~$216M. Richard is the founder of Plantation Energy Australia Pty Ltd, which he has built into one of the world’s largest producers of biomass fuel pellets used as carbon neutral fuel in coal fired power stations owned and operated by some of Europe’s largest utilities.

The Board now consists of Richard Allen as Independent Chairman, Lindsay Lyon as CEO, Brenton Scott as Executive Director, with Christian Lange and Rick Parish as Non-Executive Directors.
