GLOBAL RESOURCES NOW REACH 1.84 MILLION OZS
Highlights:
- Infill drilling initiated in January 2011 at Woodlark King Zone has resulted in a resource of 145,000 ounces, located five kilometres south of the 980,000 ounce Busai deposit.
- Global Resources at the Woodlark Island Gold Project increased to 1.84 million ounces.
- Accelerated drilling is now being undertaken adjacent to the Kulumadau resource to test the extent of the recently discovered mineralisation.
Kula Gold Limited (ASX:KGD) has today announced an increase in the global resource base at its 100% owned Woodlark Island Gold Project in Papua New Guinea. The global Mineral Resource for the Project using a 0.5g/t lower cut-off now stands at 37.3 million tonnes at 1.5g/t gold for 1.84 million ounces, refer Table 2 for details.
