The past year has been one of some considerable achievement as your Company became an established producer and exporter of copper concentrates from the Mineral Hill Mine in central western New South Wales.
This involved:
- Securing funding to meet the costs of refurbishment of the ex-Triako processing plant at Mineral Hill and start-up operations;
- Assembling a team of employees and contractors, mainly from the Condobolin area, to renovate the plant;
- Engaging a mining contractor to refurbish the Parkers Hill underground workings and commence providing copper ore to the plant;
- Hiring and training staff for the processing plant and supporting services;
- Ironing out start up issues in the plant and underground;
- Engaging overseas smelters to purchase Mineral Hill copper concentrates;
- Arranging a logistics chain to take our product from central western NSW to China;
- Identifying by further exploration and data analysis, the Resources and Reserves of the Mineral Hill orebodies for optimal mine planning and development design.
