Regional exploration drilling 50 kilometres northeast of KBL Mining Limited’s (ASX:KBL and KBLGA) operating Mineral Hill Mine has led to a maiden JORC-compliant Inferred Resource at the historic Iron Duke Mine (EL 6064, KBL 100%).
The shallow depth Inferred Resource of 1.3Mt at 1.0% copper and 0.6g/t gold (0.5% copper cut- off) or 494,000t at 1.5% copper and 0.8g/t gold (1% copper cut-off) highlights the regional potential of the Lachlan Fold Belt, which includes the Tritton, CSA, Peak, North Parkes and Lake Cowal mines within 150 kilometre radius of Iron Duke and Mineral Hill.
