In line with our drilling strategy to extend the size and grade of the mineralisation of the Copper Hill project, we have continued drilling in the Wattle Hill and Buckley’s Hill locations.
The latest drill assay results from Copper Hill will extend the resource envelopes at Wattle Hill and Buckley’s Hill and will contribute tonnes and grade to the next resource estimate due later this month. Final assays from all holes to be included in the new estimate, are expected by June 10.
Drilling is continuing with plans to test for major depth extensions under extensive, higher grade zones beneath the main Copper Hill deposit. Previous intersections in this area include 54 metres at 0.79% copper and 2.35 g/t gold and 128 metres at 0.48% copper and 0.56 g/t gold. The extension drillhole is set out in Figure 3.
Step-out drilling to the north of Copper Hill has commenced. Deeper drilling at Wattle Hill, to follow-up zones of +2% copper intersected previously and extensions of the recently reported Oxide Resource drilling program is also planned.
