NEXTDC Limited
(ASX:NXT) has inked a deal for the provision of data centre services to a major international customer.
While the data-centre-as-a-service provider has not revealed who the customer is they are expected to be active (billing) from April 2015.
NEXTDC says the initial capacity is for more than 1 megawatt at its S1 Sydney facility and may expand to more than 1.4 megawatts.
The company has also advised the term of the contract is for three years with an option to extend for a further three years.
NEXTDC reported a net loss of $22.9 million in the full 2014 financial year.
