Estia Health expanding through acquisitions

Estia Health Limited (ASX:EHE) has flagged the proposed acquisition of an aged care facility less than one week after listing on the Australian Securities Exchange. 
 
The residential aged care operator has agreed to purchase 80 additional single rooms subject to satisfactory due diligence and regulatory approvals. 
 
Estia says the price of the portfolio is $13.5 million and has a brownfields opportunity for an extra 28 single rooms, subject to planning approvals. 
 
The company has also today tied up the acquisition of three metropolitan aged care facilities which were outlined in its prospectus. 
 
Estia Health floated with an issue price of $5.75, opened at $4.98 and closed at $4.74 on its first day of trade on Friday 5 December.
