Japara allocated 465 beds in ACAR

Shares in Japara Healthcare Limited (ASX:JHC) have lifted today on news it secured 465 new aged care place in the ACAR process.
 
The residential aged-care operator was allocated the places in the Aged Care Approval Round which distributes new Australian Government funded aged care places.
 
The result represents the highest number of places allocated to a single provider in Victoria and the second highest nationally.
 
The company says the new beds support its brownfield and greenfield expansion strategy over the next three to five years. 
 
Japara reported a net loss of $2.9 million in the 2014 financial year.
