Qantas Airways launches Qantas Golf Club

Qantas Airways Limited (ASX:QAN) has today launched Qantas Golf Club as part of a continued push to lure frequent flyers with new incentives. 
 
The new online club will allow frequent flyers to earn Qantas Points for booking tee times, access to exclusive golf events, tournaments and a range of golf holiday packages.
 
Australia’s biggest airline says its frequent flyers can join Qantas Golf Club for free or subscribe to a premium membership at an annual cost of $249. 
 
Qantas says almost 40,000 of its frequent flyers have registered their interest in joining Qantas Golf Club ahead of today’s official launch.
 
The company has also recently launched prepaid travel card Qantas Cash, loyalty program Aquire and food and wine community epiQure. 
 
Qantas Airways reported a net loss of $2.84 billion in the full 2014 financial year.
