NewSat Limited
(ASX:NWT) has come to an agreement with a European satellite operator to the procure and install 2 antennas in its Adelaide facility.
The deal includes the supply of ground infrastructure support and future satellite services.
The contract is a first step in supporting the European based satellite operator and with NewSat hosting and maintaining the Adelaide ground station adds another element to Australia’s only pure play satellite company.
It’s a good news story for NewSat which has seen its share price battered after losing key contracts when the US government pulled out from Afghanistan.
