Amcom wins $6.5M NT Government contract

Amcom Telecommunications Limited (ASX:AMM) has won a $6.5 million four-year contract from the Northern Territory government. 

The fibre network and ICT provider will supply additional data network services throughout the NT, including many remote locations.  

Amcom has also been selected as a preferred supplier on the Fixed Voice Services panel for the Northern Territory government. 

This will enable government agencies to directly connect to Amcom’s IP voice platforms. 

The data network services are staged to rollout from the second quarter of 2015 onwards. 

Amcom Telecommunications reported a net profit of $22.38 million in the 2014 financial year.
