Pacific Brands eyeing Brand Collective sale

Pacific Brands Limited (ASX:PBG) has confirmed it is in talks regarding a potential sale of its Brand Collective business. 
 
The clothing manufacturer of brands such as Bonds has acknowledged the talks following media speculation but says no deal has been done. 
 
Pacific Brands says it will make a further announcement if and when an agreement is reached. 
 
The statement comes after media reports speculated the company could ink a deal to divest the shoes and licensed brands division as early as this week. 
 
Pacific Brands unveiled plans to divest its Workwear Group in August to conglomerate Wesfarmers Limited (ASX:WES) for $180 million. 
 
Pacific Brands widened its net loss to $224 million in the 2014 financial year.
