Lynas Corp lifts amid rare earths speculation

Shares in Lynas Corporation Limited (ASX:LYC) lifted yesterday after confirming the direction stated in the miner’s quarterly report released last month.
 
The rare earths producer sought to highlight its recent achievements following media speculation about the state of the rare earths industry.  
 
Lynas advises it has now received the full $83 million from its recent equity raising and again re-stated its improved performance in key financial drivers over the last quarter.   
 
CEO and Managing Director Amanda Lacaze says Lynas is confidently looking into the future and more updates will be provided at the company’s AGM on November 28.  
 
After dropping 80 per cent this year shares in Lynas Corporation lifted 9.09 per cent yesterday to close at $0.06 following the announcement. 
 
Lynas Corporation reported a net loss of $345 million in the 2014 financial year.
