Tatts expands Victorian operations

Tatts Group Limited (ASX:TTS) will be allowed to offer scratchies and daily keno in Victoria. 
 
A decision by rival Intralot to end its category 2 licence and no longer offer the two products has seen the Victorian government approve a variation to the Tatts licence.
 
Tatts Group Managing Director Robbie Cook says the deal provides over 760 retailers an exciting opportunity to join Tatts in selling the same popular range of instants offered in other states. 
 
Tatts has agreed to purchase specified ancillary assets from Intralot and will work with Intralot agents to co-ordinate a seamless transition between the companies with no disruption to customers and retailers. 
 
Tatts Group reported a net profit of $200 million for the 2014 financial year.
