Qantas Airways Limited (ASX:QAN) has sweetened its offering for business class passengers.
Australia’s biggest airline has unveiled new business suites with a world-first seat reclining feature available from take-off through to landing.
The new suite will be available on all 28 of Qantas’ A330 aircraft fleet and will be progressively introduced from later this year.
Qantas advises the Marc Newson-designed suites offer fully-flat beds and direct aisle access for every business class passenger.
CEO Alan Joyce says the suites will offer the best travel experience between Australia and Asia and probably the best domestic travel experience anywhere in the world.
Qantas Airways reported a net loss of $2.84 billion in the full 2014 financial year.
