Atrum Coal lands 4 coal licences in BC

Atrum Coal NL's (ASX:ATU) wholly owned subsidiary Kuro Coal has received four coal licences in the Peace River coalfield in British Columbia.
 
Kuro Coal says the licences total more than 5,000 hectares and are located in the rich coking coal region of Peace River.
 
The company is preparing a notice of work which will comprise surface mapping, trenching, sampling and scout drilling.
 
The company says Kuro Coal will be listed separately on the ASX following an IPO to come in the future.
 
Atrum reported a net loss of $19.1 million in the 2014 financial year.
