OBJ pursuing technology patent approvals

Company News

OBJ Limited (ASX:OBJ) has received a notice of allowance from the Australian Patent Office for its patent application concerning Delivery of Fabric Care Products.

The allowed patent application describes the use of OBJ’s magnetic micro-array technology to enhance the delivery and penetration of cleaning and conditioning agents into fabrics.

The Fabric Care program is part of OBJ’s non-skin research and development program which also includes surface penetration, hygiene and hair care research.

OBJ says the allowance of the Fabric Care patent further supports the wider use of its magnetic micro-array enhanced delivery technology into homecare and industrial areas.

The news comes in the same week OBJ welcomed the successful launch of the world’s first commercial product to incorporate its propriety magnetic micro-array technology.

Prestige skincare brand SK-II this week released to the public the first magnetic micro-array ‘Wand” in South Korea, made possible through OBJ’s technology.

OBJ reported a net loss of $2.2 million in the full 2014 financial year.
