Brockman Mining Limited (ASX:BCK) has scored a win in West Australia's Supreme Court as it battles for rail access in the state.
The legal challenge relates to Brockman wishing to gain access to Fortescue Metals Group Limited
(ASX:FMG) railway networks.
Fortescue last year contested a regulator’s decision forcing it to negotiate access to its rail line with Brockman.
The state’s Supreme Court has now ruled against Fortescue’s argument and says that Brockman has made a valid proposal.
Brockman now plans to pursue its plans through Western Australia’s economic regulators while Fortescue has indicated it will appeal the decision.
