Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX:TLS) has invested in eSignature and digital transaction management company, DocuSign.
Australia's biggest telco plans to leverage the DocuSign platform internally to accelerate manual, paper-based processes.
The telco also expects to offer the technology as a product to its business and enterprise customers later this year.
DocuSign’s says its mission is to empower the world to keep business digital and its partnership with Telstra is another step towards transforming the way Australians complete transactions.
While the value of Telstra’s investment has not been disclosed DocuSign is reportedly valued at about $1.8 billion.
Telstra Corporation reported a net profit of $4.34 billion in the 2014 financial year.
