Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX:TLS) says it is continuing to expand its cloud services portfolio to a global footprint.
Australia's biggest telco has announced the extension of its Cisco Intercloud platform to include Hong Kong and Singapore.
The move forms part of the company’s plans to widen its cloud capabilities to deliver Cisco’s OpenStack cloud infrastructure to customers around the globe.
The company says it is aiming to take the complexity out of connecting to the cloud through making the transition to hybrid and public clouds simpler and easier to manage.
Telstra has also announced its Cisco Cloud Services platform has gone live and is in trial mode for selected Telstra customers and partners in Australia.
Telstra Corporation reported a net profit of $4.34 billion in the 2014 financial year.
