(ASX:SWM) publishing arm, Pacific Magazines, has exceeded its sales expectations after publishing a celebrity wedding.
The media company published the Australasian exclusive of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s wedding across two flagship weekly titles last week.
Pacific Magazines says securing the celebrity wedding of the decade was a great coup for the company and has resulted in strong initial results.
Pacific Magazines made a decision to split the exclusive content across two mastheads and then launched an integrated campaign across Seven West Media’s platforms.
Seven West Media rebounded to a profit of $149 million in the full 2014 financial year.
