APN considers New Zealand IPO

Company News

APN News and Media Limited (ASX:APN) is considering options with its New Zealand arm of the business, including an initial public shares offering and listing of the company on the New Zealand Stock Exchange.

The print, radio and digital media provider is focused on closer collaboration between its media businesses, with programs in place to leverage extensive audiences across platforms.

In the past month, several rival Fairfax titles have made the move to the New Zealand branch’s printing facilities, as part of a recent agreement between the rivals to share the printing site.

APN News and Media Limited (ASX:APN) reported a net profit of $27.2 million for the half year ended 30th June 2014.
