Ardent Leisure Group
(ASX:AAD) has posted an annual net profit rise and spruiked growth ahead on the back of diversifying its earnings and accelerating growth initiatives.
The leisure and entertainment business operator’s net profit gained almost 38 per cent to $49 million in the 2014 financial year.
Ardent Leisure has highlighted robust 16 per cent core earnings growth which allowed it to deliver record earnings over the year.
Looking ahead the company expects earnings from its Main Event family entertainment business to grow materially as the number of centres expands.
Ardent Leisure says significant initiatives are currently underway to drive digital innovation for enhanced revenue and earnings growth prospects.
A partially-franked final dividend of 6.2 cents per share has been declared, taking the full year pay out to 13 cents per share.
