Domino’s Pizza cooks up FY 48% profit rise

Domino's Pizza Enterprises Limited (ASX:DMP) has cooked up a 48 per cent net profit rise for the full 2014 financial year on the back of store growth and digital innovation. 
 
The pizza maker booked a net profit of $42.3 million, while underlying EBITDA jumped 70 per cent to $95.1 million.  
 
Over the last financial year Domino’s opened a record number of stores including 44 new stores in Australia and New Zealand, 27 in Europe and 61 in Japan. 
 
Looking ahead the company says it is confident of continuing the current strong momentum to deliver a 20 per cent rise in earnings and adding up to 185 new stores. 
 
A final fully franked dividend of 19 cents per share has been declared, taking the full year payout to 36.7 cents per share.
