Resolute Mining Limited (ASX:RSG) has reported a fall in output over the 2014 financial year and is expecting a lower output result for the year ahead.
The miner has reported gold production of 342,773 ounces at a cash cost of $922 per ounce in fiscal 2014.
While both results are broadly in line with guidance they compare with last year’s annual output of 435,855 ounces at a cash cost of $811 per ounce in fiscal 2013.
Looking ahead the company has forecast production of 315,000 ounces at a cash cost of $890 per ounce over the 2015 financial year.
Resolute plans to lower cash costs over the year ahead but says all-in sustaining costs will be impacted by an increase in waste removal volumes at its Syama project in Mali.
Resolute Mining reported a net profit of $26.99 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
