Roc Oil receives second mystery bid

Roc Oil Company Limited (ASX:ROC) has received a second acquisition offer but has offered no indication of who it’s from.
 
The oil and gas producer received a previous undisclosed offer in late June. 
 
On receiving this second offer the company has informed Horizon Oil as a requirement of its merger talks.
 
While no details were offered the company did reveal that Cliq Energy was not involved in the proposal.
 
Roc Oil reported a net profit of $50.5 million in the full 2013 financial year.
