Calibre Group Limited (ASX:CGH) has further expanded into Western Australia with the purchase of a WA resource focused maintenance services firm.
The engineering company will buy Perth-based Ark Maintenance for a consideration of about $3.3 million, to be paid in cash and shares.
Calibre Group says the acquisition is in line with its strategy of expanding across national resources, energy and infrastructure markets.
The company believes Ark Maintenance will provide opportunities to achieve growth through building its capacity in the Western Australian market.
Calibre Group reported a net profit of $16.2 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
